Enable or disable the core modules included in Jetpack CRM, so your CRM only shows the features you actually use.
If you are looking to customize Jetpack CRM to suit your workflow, you can find the steps to that in this page. This guide explains how to enable or disable the core modules included in Jetpack CRM, so your CRM get designed exactly for your needs, displaying only the essential features you want to see.
What are core modules?
Core modules are the built-in features of Jetpack CRM that handle key CRM functionality, such as Contacts, Quotes, Invoices, Transactions, and more.
By enabling or disabling these modules, you can simplify your CRM interface and improve performance by hiding features you don’t need.
We recommend disabling only the modules you are sure you won’t need. Some features, like Contacts, are fundamental to CRM functionality and cannot be deactivated.
Activate or deactivate a core module
Follow these steps to manage your core modules and toggle them on and off:
- Navigate to Jetpack CRM → Core Modules, or hover over your Gravatar (profile image) at the top-right of any Jetpack CRM admin page and select Core Modules.
- Locate the module you want to enable or disable:
- A green checkmark indicates the module is enabled.
- A red X indicates the module is disabled.
- Click the module to toggle its status.
- The change will be applied immediately, and the module’s features will appear or disappear across your CRM interface.
Note: disabling a module hides its features from the CRM interface, but any data associated with it is retained. Re-enabling the module will restore access to all data.
Examples of core modules you can manage
These are just a few examples of the core modules you can enable and disable:
- Quotes: create, send, and manage quotes for potential business opportunities.
- Invoices: generate and handle invoices for completed transactions.
- Transactions: track payments and financial activity linked to your contacts.
- Client Portal: Allow your customers to view quotes, invoices, and files through the portal.
- B2B (Companies) Module: manage company-level data alongside individual contacts.
- CRM Forms: capture leads directly from your website forms into Jetpack CRM.
Note If you’re using WooCommerce, you may want to enable the WooCommerce Sync Hub module to automatically sync customers and transactions into Jetpack CRM.
Why you might disable a module
Disabling modules you don’t use can help to achieve some good UI and performance goals, such as:
- Reduce visual clutter in the CRM interface.
- Improve load times and overall site performance.
- Simplify workflows for your team by focusing only on relevant features.
Modules like GiveWP for Jetpack CRM or MailPoet Synchronization are optional integrations. Disable them if you’re not using the associated services to keep your CRM clean.
