How to Hide Fields and Menu tabs on the Client Portal Pro

Not using the Client Portal Pro extension? Take a look at how to hide fields in the Client Portal here.

The Client Portal Pro has two different dashboard settings you can manage:

  • Client Portal Pro Page Settings, which is what your contacts see on their portal’s menu. This is the menu and tabs on the main Client Portal page.
  • Client Portal Pro Details Page Settings, which is what you see from your backend of the site, in the contact’s page. You can also mark these fields as Read Only.

You can hide fields from both settings – here’s how to do it.

  1. Go to Jetpack CRM > CRM Settings > Client Portal.
  2. Scroll down to Client Portal Pro Page Settings on the Menu Order area if you want to hide some specific tabs of the Client Portal menu your contacts see on their end.
  3. Tick the Hide box of the tabs you want to hide. You can also drag the tabs to reorder them.
  4. Scroll down to Client Portal Pro Details Page Settings on the Field Order area if you want to hide specific fields in the contact’s page on your CRM backend
  5. Tick the Hide box of the fields you want to hide. You can also set them as Read only by ticking the related box
  6. Don’t forget to click Save Settings at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
