You can merge contacts in Jetpack CRM if you need to consolidate customers’ information into one single contact.
Customers may be recorded as separate or duplicate entries if they use different email addresses when adding contacts to Jetpack CRM, either manually or via contact forms.
Merge contact(s) into a primary contact
If you prefer not to use the Alias/AKA Mode and want to merge the contacts, follow these steps:
- Go to the CRM Contacts page (either via WP Admin → Contacts or via WP Admin → Jetpack CRM → Contacts).
- Select the accounts to merge by using the checkboxes. If you don’t see them immediately, use the search bar, as they may be on different pages.
- From the Bulk Action(s) dropdown (next to the search bar), choose Merge Contacts.
- In the pop-up window, select a “master” contact to merge the other contact(s) into.
- Click the Yes, merge them button to validate the contacts’ merge.
After merging, any existing data in the primary contact will remain unchanged. Data from the merged contacts will only fill in blank fields.
