Synchronise MailPoet subscribers into Jetpack CRM

Synchronise your MailPoet subscribers into Jetpack CRM with few clicks with the MailPoet Sync module.

Starting with version 5.5, Jetpack CRM includes a MailPoet Sync module that makes it easy to connect your MailPoet Subscribers with your CRM contacts. This integration is available in the free Core CRM and ensures your MailPoet subscriber lists stay up to date inside Jetpack CRM.

If you’re looking to send CRM contacts the other way, into MailPoet, you’ll want to see our separate guide on exporting CRM contact segments to MailPoet subscriber lists.

Getting Started with MailPoet Sync

Before syncing, make sure you have everything set up:

Once these are in place, Jetpack CRM will automatically begin syncing your MailPoet subscribers in the background.

Configure the MailPoet Sync

If you’d like to customize the way syncing works, you can configure the settings before or during the sync.

  1. Go to Jetpack CRM → CRM Settings → MailPoet Sync.
  2. From here, you can:
    • Choose whether CRM contacts should be tagged with their MailPoet lists and tags.
    • Decide what happens in Jetpack CRM when a subscriber is deleted in MailPoet.

These options give you more control over how your subscriber data flows between MailPoet and Jetpack CRM.

Running the Sync between MailPoet and Jetpack CRM

With everything set up, the sync starts automatically;no manual action is required.

If you’d like to watch the sync in progress or adjust things as it runs, do the following:

  • Go to Jetpack CRM → MailPoet Sync.
  • Or, from any Jetpack CRM admin page, open Tools → MailPoet Sync in the top menu.

Here you’ll see the current sync status and live updates. You don’t need to keep this page open for the sync to continue, but checking it can speed up the process.

Once complete, you’ll see your MailPoet subscribers appear as contacts in Jetpack CRM.

Note: you can also export CRM contacts into MailPoet via the segments feature if you want to build subscriber lists from inside your CRM.

Syncing Jetpack subscribers with CRM

Currently, syncing is only available for MailPoet Subscribers. Jetpack Newsletter subscribers cannot be synced with Jetpack CRM at this time.

As a workaround, you can connect Jetpack Newsletter subscribers using Zapier, which available with a Jetpack CRM Entrepreneur or Reseller plan.
