It is indeed possible to add tax to your Jetpack CRM invoices; in fact, you can declare many different tax rates globally in the CRM. This is very useful if you sell a range of taxable goods.
Enable Tax on Invoicing
To enable tax on Jetpack CRM Invoices, you need to make sure you have ‘Use Tax’ checked in your Jetpack CRM Invoice Builder settings:
- Go to Jetpack CRM → CRM Settings.
- Click Invoicing from the left-hand settings menu.
- On “General Invoice Settings”, tick the Enable tax option.
- Click the Save Settings button to validate the change.
Add/edit tax rates:
You can enter as many tax entries as you want – there is no limit to that.
You can follow these steps to set up or edit tax entries:
- Go to CRM Settings → General → Tax.
- From the main Tax entries view, click on the plus “+” icon on the right end of the page to start adding tax entries.
- Name the tax rate and add the value in the rate column.
- You can edit existing tax rates by clicking on them.
- To remove an entry, click on the bold “x” at the end of its line.
- Click the Save Settings button to validate any changes.
Tax entries can be added when creating a new invoice by selecting them from the “Tax” column of each added item.
