Adding Tabs and Content to the Client Portal

Easily add new tabs and content by adding a subpage to your original client portal page, with the Client Portal Pro extension.

Before you read more, please note that this feature is only available if you have Client Portal Pro installed. You can purchase now as a stand-alone plugin extension, or get it as part of a bundle.

Set up tabs and content in Client Portal

The first thing you want to check is that your Client Portal page is assigned correctly. You can see that in Jetpack CRM → CRM Settings Client Portal.

Next, follow the WordPress guide to create a subpage of that original Client Portal page.

All newly added tabs (subpages) will be hidden by default in the Client Portal. Follow these steps to make them visible:

  1. Go to Jetpack CRM → CRM Settings → Client Portal.
  2. Scroll down to the “Client Portal Pro Page Settings” section.
  3. Uncheck the “Hide” box for the subpages you want to be shown as tabs in the Client Portal.
  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the Save Settings button.

Once you’ve done that, your Client Portal will look like this. Notice the extra “Custom Tab” link, which will load the content of that subpage.
