How to get WordPress menu items back (in WP Admin dashboard)

Jetpack CRM features different menu layout modes you can choose from for your WP Admin dashboard. Some of those CRM menu layouts remove normal WP Admin menu items.

If you installed Jetpack CRM in “override mode” or are looking for your WordPress menu items, here’s how you can get the WordPress menu items to show up again:

Update the Jetpack CRM menu layout settings

  1. Go to Jetpack CRM > CRM Settings.
  2. In the “WordPress Menu Layout” section at the top of the page, select the “Slimline” or “Full” option in the “Menu Layout” dropdown box.
  3. Scroll down to the “WordPress Override Mode” section, and make sure the “Override WordPress” option is NOT checked.
  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the “Save Settings” button.

Why would we add such a setting?

Many users use Jetpack CRM on a standalone WordPress install. These users do not want to see posts, plugins, and other WordPress menu options in their WP Admin dashboard. This setting is for those users, effectively creating a CRM app on their standalone site.
