How to get WordPress menu items back (in wp-admin dashboard)

Jetpack CRM features different menu layout modes you can choose from for your wp-admin.

Are you looking for your WordPress menu items? Perhaps you just installed Jetpack CRM in “Override Mode”?

Here’s how to get your WordPress menu items to show up again:

Update via Settings

  1. Go to Jetpack CRM > CRM Settings.
  2. Select “Slimline” or “Full” for the WordPress Menu Layout option at the top of the page.
  3. Make sure “Override WordPress (For All WP Users)” is NOT checked (if you do not want this setting). The settings for the WordPress Override Mode are on the same page, you need scroll a little bit down.

Why would we add such a setting?

We have explained in depth how the different layout modes can be helpful and what they feature in detail.

Many users use Jetpack CRM on a standalone WordPress install. These users do not want to see “Posts”, “Plugins”, etc. This setting (Full override) is for those users, effectively creating a CRM app in your WordPress.
