Adding a WooCommerce Store Connection in WooSync

It’s quick and easy to connect to a WooCommerce store in WooSync, this guide will walk you through connecting to a local WooCommerce store or an external store.

Psst. If you’ve not yet activated the WooSync module in Jetpack CRM, here’s a tiny guide for that.

Local WooCommerce or External Woo?

First up, here’s what we mean when we say Local or External:

Local Store: WooCommerce installed on the same website as Jetpack CRM.

External Store: Jetpack CRM installed on one WordPress website, and WooCommerce installed on another WordPress site.

Connecting to a Local WooCommerce Store

The good news for those of you wanting to connect Jetpack CRM to your local WooCommerce Store – from v5.2 this should be done automatically!

Because nobody likes surprises, we’ve made the CRM automatically build a connection to the local Woo, but pause syncing for that connection until you’re ready.

To enable local WooCommerce data synchronising:

1. Go to Jetpack CRM > CRM Settings from the left hand WordPress admin menu.

2. Click “Store Connections” under the “WooSync” Settings menu.

3. Click “Resume Sync” next to your local Store Connection in the Connection manager:

That’s it! Jetpack CRM will now start synchronising your WooCommerce customers and orders into your CRM. Nothing more to do, (it’ll also keep your data automatically up to date!)

You can now see import/sync process by using the WooSync Hub.

Connecting to an External WooCommerce Store

1. Go to “Settings” from the top right menu in Jetpack CRM, (or “CRM Settings -> Settings” from the left hand WordPress admin menu):

2. Click “Store Connections” under the “WooSync” Settings menu.

3. You’re now in the Connections Manager! Next, click “Connect another Store”:

4. Next you’ll be presented with an input which you need to paste or type your external store URL into. When you’ve got that in, click “Connect Store”:

5. Next you should see a prompt from your External WooCommerce Store, checking whether or not you want to give Jetpack CRM read access to your data. Provided you agree, click “Approve”:

That’s it! Jetpack CRM will now start synchronising your WooCommerce customers and orders into your CRM. Nothing more to do, (it’ll also keep your data automatically up to date!)

You can now see import/sync process by using the WooSync Hub.

Connecting Multiple WooCommerce Stores to Jetpack CRM
