Adding a WooCommerce Store Connection in WooSync

This guide will walk you through connecting to a local, or external, WooCommerce store to WooSync. Hint: it’s easy!

Before starting, please make sure the WooSync core module is enabled. You can read about that here.

Local or external WooCommerce?

  • Local: WooCommerce is installed on the same website as Jetpack CRM.
  • External: Jetpack CRM and WooCommerce are installed on different sites.

Connecting a Local WooCommerce Store

The good news for those of you wanting to connect Jetpack CRM to your local WooCommerce Store – from v5.2 this should happen automatically!

Because nobody likes surprises, Jetpack CRM is designed to automatically create a connection to the local WooCommerce store, but pause syncing for that connection until you’re ready.

Enable local WooCommerce data synchronising:

  1. Go to Jetpack CRM > CRM Settings > WooSync > Store Connections (or hover over your Gravtar (profile image) at the top right of any Jetpack CRM admin page, and go to Settings > WooSync > Store Connections).
  2. Click the “Resume Sync” button next to the local connection you want to enable. If you see “Pause Sync” instead of “Resume Sync”, it means the sync is already enabled.

That’s it! Jetpack CRM will now start synchronising your WooCommerce customers and orders into your CRM.

You can now view the import/sync process in the WooSync Hub.

Connecting to an External WooCommerce Store

  1. Go to Jetpack CRM > CRM Settings > WooSync > Store Connections (or hover over your Gravtar (profile image) at the top right of any Jetpack CRM admin page, and go to Settings > WooSync > Store Connections).
  2. Click the “Connect another Store” button at the bottom of the page.
  3. Enter the URL of your external WooCommerce store, and click the “Connect Store” button.
  4. You’ll be asked to confirm that you want to give Jetpack CRM access to that WooCommerce store. Click the “Approve” button to confirm the connection.

That’s it! Jetpack CRM will now start synchronising your WooCommerce customers and orders into your CRM.

You can now view the import/sync process in the WooSync Hub.

Connecting Multiple WooCommerce Stores to Jetpack CRM

You can connect several WooCommerce stores to your CRM by repeating the steps mentioned above. This is a free feature built right into Jetpack CRM. Happy selling!
